Mobile Training Trailers

Metro, Regional, and Remote Training Support Vehicle

To facilitate our mobile site/school-based training and assessment programs, YRT developed our Mobile Training Trailer (MTT) units. The MTT provides a safe and secure practical learning environment with multiple training/program options. The MTT has several key features built into the design to enable various elements of practical training to be conducted at the same time in the one location, which provides practical skills and knowledge-based learning outcomes.

Fee-for-Service & Bespoke Training

In New South Wales, YRT delivers fee-for-service training for individuals, employers, and schools, with programs designed to meet compliance requirements and workforce needs. Training can be delivered at YRT facilities, onsite, or through mobile delivery options, allowing flexible, scalable solutions aligned to operational needs.

Funding & Support

Eligible students and employers in New South Wales may be able to access Smart and Skilled government-subsidised training for approved qualifications and courses.

Smart and Skilled funding helps reduce the cost of training while supporting skills development in priority industries. Our team can assist with understanding eligibility and available funding options.

Subsidised Training & Traineeships

Where eligible, YRT also supports employers and learners through subsidised training and funded traineeship pathways, helping build skilled workers while they earn and learn. These pathways are designed to meet industry demand while supporting long-term workforce development.

Smart and Skilled funded qualifications

NSW Smart and Skilled is the NSW Government program for vocational education and training which was originally established as a reform of the vocational education and training system giving people the chance to gain the skills they need to get a job or advance their career.

Smart and Skilled provides eligible students with an entitlement to government-subsidised training up to and including Certificate III as well as government funding for higher-level courses (Certificate IV and above) in targeted priority areas.

Employer-supported traineeships

Employer-supported traineeships provide a structured pathway for businesses to develop skilled workers while they earn and learn on the job. Combining paid employment with nationally recognised training, these traineeships help employers build workforce capability, improve retention, and create long-term career opportunities aligned to operational needs.
