YRT and Yarnda Academy have partnered to offer a wide range of training programs in the Pilbara. With a full serviced training facility at 14 Harwell Way, Wedgefield in Port Hedland and also training out of Roebourne and our Karratha site at 2548 Augustus Drive Karratha Industrial Estate, Karratha , we pride ourselves on being a Pilbara TO owned, operated and intimately connected to communities RTO.

Today, we are working  with pre-employment ATAL programs, Correctional Centre pre and post release educational pathways, high school pathways and skilling initiatives, HRWL, mobile training trailer initiatives as well as training everything from single units, part quals and full quals with 50% of our students from Pilbara local communities.

Our team has been providing education pathways in Leadership, Information Communications and Technology, Construction, Land Management, Driving and Plant Operations, Manufacturing, High-Risk Licenses, Infrastructure, Rail, Circular Economy and Waste Management.

We continue to support diverse communities and creating pathways through education pathways and upskilling programs.

Yarnda is a collaboration between Yalagan and two proud Wilson families from WA. This collaboration is designed the right way – majority owned and lead by Traditional Owners who have a strong connection to their country.

Gloria Lee and Jessica Wilson originally from Roebourne Western Australia, are a proud and dynamic Njamal Yindjibarndi family with cultural ties that span across the Pilbara region. Sean Wilson and the second Wilson family have been working in the Pilbara for over 20 years. Yalagan has worked across projects in the North-West with leading organisations such as FMG, CIVMEC and BHP since 2020. Yarnda through a Third Party Agreement (TPA) with Yalagan Registered Training (YRT), now has the capabilities as a Registered Training Organisation and Group Training Organisation through Yalagan’s Registered Training (YRT) RTO ID: (91627) and Yalagan Group Training (GTO) Organisations.

With the combined capabilities of the two entities Yarnda has the ability to provide a combination of training including but not limited to;
