Description
The Certificate III in Apparel, Fashion and Textiles gives you practical skills to work confidently in production roles across the textile, clothing and footwear industry. You will develop an understanding of fabrics, textiles, production processes and workplace practices that are used to create quality apparel and textile products.
Training focuses on building practical capability, from safely using equipment and working with fabrics through to sewing, quality control and following production requirements. You will develop the skills to work accurately, solve problems and contribute effectively in a real workplace environment.
The qualification also develops your understanding of sustainable practices and effective communication within an apparel and textile production environment. You will build confidence in applying your skills while working independently and as part of a team.
Completing this qualification can help prepare you for production related roles across the fashion, clothing and textiles industry. It can also provide a pathway to further training and more specialised roles as you continue to build your skills and experience.
