Description
This course gives learners the opportunity to develop foundation-level creative and technical skills that support visual arts and craft practice in real learning and community environments. You will explore how to communicate ideas through art, develop basic drawing and creative practice skills, and build your understanding of materials, processes and safe ways of working.
Training can support learners who are starting out in the creative industries, building confidence in their own artistic practice or preparing for further study and pathway opportunities. The qualification aligns to job outcomes such as Ceramics Studio Trainee, Community Arts Workshop Assistant and Arts Practitioner, while also creating a pathway into broader visual arts, craft and design roles.
