The EPP Skills Group Program – Construction is designed to introduce participants to the construction industry through practical, hands-on learning and real-world workplace skills. This program focuses on building confidence, safety awareness, teamwork, and foundational construction knowledge to help participants become job-ready and explore future pathways into training, apprenticeships, and employment within the industry. Throughout the program, participants will gain exposure to industry tools, equipment, workplace expectations, and safe work practices in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Entry requirements (Accredited)

To make the most of your YRT Accredited course, it’s essential to have the following skills:

  • Basic English literacy and numeracy.
  • Fundamental computer skills.
  • Access to a modern device with fast internet and video capabilities.
  • A Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment to ensure you're equipped with the essential skills to succeed in the course.

By the end of this course, you'll have the tools and knowledge to confidently apply these key concepts in practice:
