VOC

Don't assume. Verify. A Verification of Competency (VOC) is a targeted assessment that confirms a worker can safely and competently perform specific tasks or operate particular plant and equipment, right now, in real workplace conditions. Holding a ticket or licence isn't enough, especially in high-risk environments or any workplace. Employers have a legal obligation under WHS legislation to ensure workers are competent before they step onto site. YRT conducts independent VOC assessments on behalf of employers, contractors and principals, supporting pre-employment checks, contractual compliance and site mobilisation requirements. VOCs are completed for workers who already hold a current licence, ticket or unit of competency, verifying they still meet the required standard for the relevant skill, plant or equipment.
