Description
YRT’s EWP Combo Course combines TLILIC0005 – Licence to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 metres or more) with Yellow Card EWP training, giving participants broader EWP skills and greater versatility across worksites.
The TLILIC0005 component provides the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a boom-type EWP with a boom length of 11 metres or more, including planning the work, preparing the equipment and site, safely operating the EWP and completing shutdown procedures.
The Yellow Card component expands your practical EWP capability across relevant equipment categories, helping you develop the skills to safely plan, inspect, set up and operate elevating work platforms in workplace environments.
Throughout the course, you'll develop practical skills in equipment operation, hazard identification, risk management, pre-start inspections and safe work practices, with a strong focus on preparing you for real-world work.
Course Content
Entry requirements (Accredited)
To make the most of your YRT Accredited course, it’s essential to have the following skills:
- Must have the ability to understand and follow safety instructions in English
- Must provide valid photo identification such as a passport or Australian driver licence
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for a high risk work licence
- Must have appropriate work rights in Australia where required
