Description
This course provides practical, hands on training that reflects complex and high risk construction environments. You will learn how to erect, alter and dismantle advanced scaffolding systems, including suspended scaffolds, hung scaffolds and cantilevered structures used on large scale projects.
You will develop strong skills in planning complex scaffolding work, selecting and inspecting advanced equipment and applying safe work methods in line with workplace and regulatory requirements. Training also focuses on interpreting detailed job plans, calculating loads and managing risk in high pressure environments.Throughout the course, you will gain experience working on scaffolding systems that require precision, coordination and strong communication. You will also learn how to lead scaffolding activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification.
This unit supports progression into senior scaffolding roles across construction, mining and infrastructure projects. It is the highest level scaffolding licence and is designed for professionals who want to lead teams and take responsibility for complex access systems on major worksites.

To make the most of your YRT Accredited course, it’s essential to have the following skills:
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for a high risk work licence
- Must hold a current intermediate scaffolding high risk work licence as a pre requisite
- Must provide valid photo identification such as a passport or Australian driver licence
- Must have the ability to understand and follow safety instructions in English
- Must have appropriate work rights in Australia where required
