Description

This course is focused on real world civil construction and gives you the skills needed to operate heavy machinery across a range of job sites. You will learn how to work safely, follow site procedures and understand how large scale infrastructure projects are delivered from start to finish.

Training is highly practical and designed to reflect real work environments. You will gain hands on experience operating machinery, carrying out excavation and earthworks, and supporting site preparation activities. You will also learn how to read plans, complete basic measurements and ensure work is completed to industry standards.

YRT delivers this qualification with a strong focus on job readiness. You will develop the confidence to operate plant equipment, communicate effectively on site and work as part of a team. The course builds both your technical ability and your understanding of workplace expectations.
