Entry requirements (Accredited)
To make the most of your YRT Accredited course, it’s essential to have the following skills:
- Possess sound English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding technical concepts.
- 18 years of age
- Provide 100 points of identification as per SafeWork NSW requirements.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, you'll have the tools and knowledge to confidently apply these key concepts in practice:
- Safely operate a forklift truck in accordance with WHS legislation and workplace procedures.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and identify workplace hazards and risks.
- Lift, move, stack and place loads accurately and safely in real workplace environments.
Upon successful completion, the student will receive a national Accredited qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and Australian Skills Quality Authority.
