YRT’s advanced scaffolding course is what you need to take on more responsibilities on Sydney’s worksite in areas from planning, inspection, execution and safety control. With guidance from our professional trainers, you will learn in-depth knowledge and their practical application that will help you succeed in your career.
Advanced Scaffolding Course Content
This course is designed for applicants to obtain the necessary skills to erect, disassemble advanced scaffolding configurations to meet the requirements of SafeWork NSW for an advanced scaffolding license.
Once applicants have completed this course they will be able to carry out all basic and intermediate scaffolding tasks as well as the erection of hung scaffolds and erection of suspended scaffolds.
It is a mandatory requirement that all participants enrolled in the advanced scaffolding program already have their basic scaffolding licence and their intermediate scaffolding licence.
Scaffolding Course Prerequisites In Sydney
- Ability to understand and write English.
- 18 years of age
- Participants must provide their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety boots, hard hat and a high visibility vest.
- Participants will need enough strength to lift up to 20kg infrequency from the ground to overhead and access heights above 2 meters
Participants must wear correct safety clothing which includes: trousers, long sleeved shirt, safety boots, gloves, glasses, and helmet.
Scaffolding tool belts are in limited stock, so if you do have one please bring it along for your training and assessment.
